November 13

We are winding down for the year with meetings in Harrington and Lewes, DE and Norfolk, VA. The Lord has been working in our meetings as we saw 13 accept Christ in a small church in Pennsylvania! After Thanksgiving we will be leading the Christmas Cantata at our church on December 14. Please pray that this will come together for His glory. We are both in good health and our vehicles are running well at the moment. Thank you so much for your prayers for us and our ministry!

September 8

I don't know about you, but our summer flew by! We are looking forward to a full fall schedule and we praise the Lord for allowing us to be on the road for nearly 14 years. At the moment, our truck is running excellently (just flipped 100,000 miles) and our trailer, which is 7 years old, is operating well. We are currently working with Glenn Christianson to produce a book with 33 of our original songs, tunes, and arrangements. People have requested songs that aren't in print so we hope that this will fill those needs and be a blessing. A few days ago we came upon a terrible accident on I-70 in Ohio. A woman had rear-ended a semi. When she swerved to miss it she drove the passenger side into the trailer and killed the passenger. I got out to see if I could be of assistance and I heard the driver screaming and crying. It sent chills up my spine. When I saw the passenger I knew she was gone because of the gruesome injuries to her face and head. Reflecting back on that moment I am thankful that I know where I will spend eternity when I die. I'm also thankful for God's protection and for those who pray for us. Thanks again for all the prayers and support that are offered on our behalf! God bless!

July 8

Our trip to Mexico went very well as we saw many accept Christ! We were kept totally safe so praise the Lord for His protection. The capital city of Zacatecas is beautiful. The population total between Zacatecas and Guadalupe is about 250,000. Both missionary families were very gracious to us. The meals were so good and having a wifi connection was such a blessing. After returning from our trip we headed to Tucson, AZ to be at New Testament Baptist with Pastor J.C. Joiner. Drew joined us for a week and we had a blast with him. We then made our way to Springfield, CO for a Wednesday evening service and then on to Watertown, SD for a half week. Now we are in Wisconsin for five weeks with three of those weeks at Camp Chetek. Thanks again for the prayers and support!

June 2

We arrived in Mexico safely on Saturday and were greeted by two American missionaries who are working together here in Zacatecas/Guadalupe. Our accommodations are very nice with fast wifi which is not a necessity but is very helpful. Yesterday we were in two churches and saw three people accept Christ. Today we are going to pass out flyers and have another service tonight. We are very safe here and there is a good police presence around. We just don't go out at night. The services are at 5 pm so we don't have to drive in the dark. Thanks for praying!

May 30

Tomorrow morning we leave for a two week trip to Zacatecas, Mexico. Please pray the following: for the Lord to work through the preaching of His Word, for the music to minister to hearts, and for our health and safety. I'll send out updates when I can. Thanks!

May 12

It is great to have Heather back! She enjoyed a busy week with her family in Arkansas. I managed to have most everything clean and washed when she returned.

We had the black water valve shipped to the Camping World and it is in the shop. The hourly labor is $129 so we're hoping it takes less time to fix. Since our trailer is our home we are sitting in the truck in a parking lot working on what we can.

We started meetings yesterday at Faith Baptist Tabernacle in North Highlands, CA with Pastor Mike Rodgers and we go through Wednesday.

May 2

In the past two weeks God has given us wonderful ministry opportunities at Faith Baptist in Atascadero, CA and Calvary Baptist in Oroville, CA. Several were born again and great decisions were made. The fellowship has been sweet and we are really enjoying our time in CA. The past two weeks have been in rural CA and the springtime here has been gorgeous. We're looking forward to Allie and Aubrey joining us for the summer in less than two weeks!

We have next week off so I'm taking the trailer the Camping World to have our black water handle/valve fixed. It's in the shut position but the valve is frozen in the open position. Fortunately, we have an emergency valve on the end of our pipe so we can stop it from freely flowing out. :)

Heather is flying home for a week so we'd appreciate your prayers for her safety.  Thanks for your prayers and support!

April 15

Last week went really fast at Liberty Baptist in San Jose, CA. We saw several accept Christ and the fellowship was sweet! The people were so kind to us and we enjoyed our time there. Now, we are at Manor Baptist in San Leandro, CA. It was nice having a short 35 mile drive Saturday. I could get used to that! We plan on going into San Fransisco to enjoy the city sometime this week. Continue praying for the Lord to work!

April 8

Last week we saw at least 10 accept Christ or get assurance of their faith! This week we are at Liberty Baptist Church in San Jose, CA and we have already seen 4 accept Christ as their Savior! The choir has done an excellent job thus far and we will also have an opportunity to minister in the school. Pray that the details regarding the next few months will materialize. We are still looking for somewhere to park in Los Angeles while we are in Mexico for two weeks. We have a lead in LA and we're praying it will work out.

April 1

Last week was very profitable as we ministered in both the church and school at Heritage Baptist in Antioch, CA. This week we are at Calvary Baptist in Marina, CA. It was 8-9 years ago that we were last here and God had blessed thus far with seeing several accept Christ as their Savior. We recently had our trailer brakes go out due to a malfunctioning brake caliber. Given that our brakes are hydraulic, we needed someone skilled enough to fix the problem. We found a mobile tech that did the job well and now I think I could do the job after watching him work. We replaced one wheel hub (rotor) and two calibers. I've been able to run on the beach this week which has been hard but enjoyable. Praise the Lord! :)

March 16

This morning we concluded a wonderful week of ministry at Canyon Springs Baptist Church in Las Vegas! Right now we are driving two hours north to Westside Baptist in St. George, UT for the evening service.

March 14

Two weeks of meetings have gone by since the last post and we rejoice in the Lord's goodness! The Lord really moved at Northwest Baptist Church in Albuquerque, NM! A few accepted Christ and the believers were really strengthened and challenged by God's word. Of course, the fellowship was sweet! Last week we were in Ferron, UT at First Baptist Church. Pastor Lacock helped me get to the bottom of some water that was leaking from our trailer. Thankfully it was a fairly easy fix with no water damage. The faithfulness of the Christians at this church is always a blessing to me as living in a highly Mormon area can be difficult and lonely. This week we are helping a church planter in Las Vegas, NV. We have been passing out invitations and holding home Bible studies and prayer meetings. Wednesday I was able to preach to a Good News Club and last night several of the kids and parents came out to a free dinner and service. The attendance was very encouraging and everyone heard the Gospel. Until next time, God bless and thanks for the prayers!

February 21

We just ended a half week of meetings at Harvest Hills Baptist Church in Yukon,  OK. God was at work in both the church and school and we praise Him for that. The fellowship was sweet as we got to know the pastoral staff and church members in a deeper way.  We even found our way onto the golf course and boy did the wind howl!  Now I can better appreciate the lyrics to the main song in the musical, Oklahoma. :) Today we are departing for Albuquerque with a stop at Palo Duro Canyon along the way. We love the opportunities we are given to view God's marvelous creation!

Leaving Florida

Well, we are leaving the warmth oF Florida for the "natural state" of Arkansas. I believe we saw 13 professions of faith with several getting assurance while in Florida. PTL! Tomorrow we start a week at Liberty Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, AR. This is our first meeting in Arkansas since we started traveling and it may be Mike's first meeting in Arkansas as well.  Pray that we will be used by God this week!

Free Sheet Music

We will periodically post original songs. Feel free to copy and use them for your personal or church use.

Missouri Avenue Baptist Church

We had a great start yesterday here at Missouri Avenue Baptist Church in Clearwater, FL.  With near record attendance in each service, we saw the Lord at work in hearts.  I know a few were dealt with privately with regards to salvation.  The weather here is so nice and I feel for my friends in the north. Evangelists tend to go south in the winter on purpose because it's so much easier to function when it's warmer.  Although, we've had our share of snow and cold in the past and we're not done with the cold yet. :)

First week of meetings

Praise the Lord for His working in hearts at Bethel Baptist Church in North Port, FL!  We saw 6 adults accept Christ and 6 others made sure of their salvation.  The attendance each night was awesome and the choir was such a blessing.  Why was this week so fruitful?  It wasn't our team.  It wasn't our music.  It wasn't a personality.  The people were praying earnestly for specific needs and God answered a lot of specific prayers.  All glory to him!
